Interested in working on Hyperloop (or similar) projects in the future? Check out this playlist of short interviews with Hyperloop employees. Do the following:

1. Create a Google Doc and share it with me. The name of the assignment should be "Employee" (Ex. "Denali.Thompson.Employee").
2. Watch at least three interviews with current Hyperloop employees from the playlist above.
3. In your document, list the names and jobs of the three employees, along with a 2-3 sentence summary of what they do for the company.
4. Check out the Careers page of the Hyperloop one website. Read through at least five different job descriptions.
5. Choose the one that looks most interesting to you.
6. In your document, tell me the name of the position and provide the link to the job description.
7. Write a 4-6 sentence paragraph outlining the skills you'd need to hold this position. Imagine how you would start preparing yourself this year (yes - in sixth grade!) for such a job.

Other explorers - many of whom were contemporaries of Shackleton - tried to accomplish ambitious and daring feats. Choose one of the following explorers to research using your elite internet search skills.

Polar Explorers
1. Captain Robert F. Scott
2. Roald Amundsen
3. James Clark Ross

Your research may be self-directed and you have a lot of freedom in how you choose to present your findings. You can use a Google Slideshow, poster, annotated map, or any other meaningful and creative medium, but you must include the following:

- Date of Birth
- Date of Death
- Brief description of how they became an explorer
- What areas did they explore other than Antarctica
- Brief synopsis of their Antarctic expeditions
- Map of Antarctic or other explorations
- Cause of Death
- Any other interesting information that you find

Be sure to list your sources. Try to find at least three, one of which should be from a ".edu." Wikipedia can be a good starting point, but it cannot be a source in itself. You must follow the links or verify your research elsewhere.
